Ah, Connecticut. This was our first time back to New England this wedding season and we have Emily and Dan to thank for our most recent travel adventure! These two lovebirds tied the knot at The Hickories, a local organic farm in Ridgefield. The folks at The Hickories are doing some amazing work – producing safe and nutritious products grown with respect for soil, animals, and people and following an agricultural model that’s ecologically, economically, and socially responsible.
But enough about veggies. Emily is quite the singer, and she secretly recorded a song to share with Dan on their wedding day. The song you hear in the video below is all Emily and including her music in their film was a really special treat for us as editors. Love it!
We hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Emily + Dan’s cinematic wedding film! Emily and Dan requested a shorter than usual sneak peek suitable for instagram sharing, so you can find it over on our official instagram feed as well.
We’ve filmed hundreds of weddings over the last ten years in some amazing places with some amazing couples, but nothing quite prepares you for getting a call from Vogue and being asked if you’d like to be featured in their magazine. What?! Of course! A million times yes!
We were honored to be included in the January 2017 issue of British Vogue in their “Vogue’s Big Day…” editorial, a curated selection of wedding professionals from around the world. The issue hits newsstands on December 5 and we’ve got a sneak peek at all the good stuff below!
Saltwater Farms Vineyard in Stonington, Connecticut offers spectacular views as far as the eye can see. We were so excited to be invited to spend the day with Michelle and Andrew at this coastal farmland, WWII-era private airport, and super chic wedding venue as they tied the knot.
A special thanks to the staff at Saltwater Farms for their warm hospitality, and to the kind folks at Grazier Photography for being being so amazing to work with.
We hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Michelle and Andrew’s cinematic wedding film!
Our next travel wedding of the season brings us to picturesque Groton, Connecticut and the historic Brandford House Mansion at Avery Point for Chanmaly and Steve’s nuptials. They were united by Laotian tradition during a morning Baci ceremony while wearing gorgeous silk outfits from Laos, and again in the afternoon during a Christian ceremony officiated by Steve’s brother Josh.
We couldn’t have had such an amazing shoot without the talents of all the other vendors that contributed to the day, including the staff of the Branford House Mansion, A Thyme to Cook Catering, Crista Acosta Photography, Myles of Sound Entertainment, New England Photo Booths, and April Rose Boutique.
We hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Chanmaly + Steve’s cinematic wedding film. So excited to share more!
