While we travel quite a bit each year to film weddings, it’s been nice to stay a little closer to home in Nashville the last couple weeks. Most recently we spent the day with Kayla and Ben, a perfectly-matched couple that tied the knot at Brentwood Baptist Church and enjoyed a reception celebration at Brentwood Country Club amongst the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee.
Lots of amazing vendors came together to make the day extra special, including the talented team of Evin and Bethany of Evin Photography.
And now, here’s a sneak peek of Kayla and Ben’s cinematic wedding film!
We’ve filmed a number of multi-day wedding events over the last couple years, and we always embrace these unique opportunities for the way they influence our storytelling and our understanding of our couples and their families.
Ayesha and Daniel’s wedding weekend saw us covering three days worth of events at just as many wonderful venues: their sangeet reception at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro (hosted by Ayesha’s family), a rehearsal dinner at Ruby in Nashville (hosted by Daniel’s family), and a wedding day at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens that brought together these two families in a fusion of cultures.
Hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Ayesha and Daniel’s cinematic wedding film!
Wooo! What a weekend!
First up from our double-header wedding shoot is Linda and Richard. These two tied the knot at Ashton Gardens in Atlanta, an idyllic venue nestled in its own private forest and offering a distinctive glass enclosed chapel to celebrate in style among stunning views of the surrounding trees, lush greenery and fountained courtyards. Later that evening, they celebrated into the wee hours with food, dance (and a little karaoke) at Happy Valley Dim Sum and Asian Cuisine.
We love when our couples write their own vows, and love even more when the bride’s vows rhyme. Take a look at this sneak peek of Linda and Richard’s cinematic wedding film and you’ll see what we mean!
Once in a while a wedding comes along that’s so epic, so grandiose, and so much fun that we can’t wait to share it with you! We spent four days filming in New York with Preksha and Ankit and put together this same-day edit to screen on Saturday, the evening of their wedding reception.
We spent the afternoon of day one in Central Park on the lake and enjoyed Ankit’s mehndi in the evening. Day two saw us covering Preksha’s mehndi in the morning and their sangeet reception later that night at the elegant Chateau Briand, and day three featured their super colorful turmeric ceremonies and a little filming at Preksha and Ankit’s middle school (where they met – how cute is that?). They tied the knot on the fourth day at the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson backed by the expansive NYC skyline and celebrated into the evening as the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Butala!
So many vendors came together to make this amazing wedding weekend perfect, including the experienced team of Jay Seth Photography and rockstar event planners Reema and Kurien of RB Event Design. Reema and Kurien, can’t wait to see you again in August!
And now, for the second time ever, here’s Preksha and Ankit’s same-day edit!
Natu and Philip’s wedding weekend in Nashville, TN was full of color and culture and family traditions. Friday evening, Marathon Village hosted a welcome party for their family and friends where Natu and Philip participated in a traditional Tanzanian wedding ceremony. Saturday brought everyone together again (along with a little rain) to honor the newlyweds with a traditional American-style wedding ceremony and reception at aVenue downtown.
There were a lot of moving parts, and Mary Anna and team of Music City Events brought them all together effortlessly. We’d also like to thank Gregory Byerline Photography, Snyder Entertainment, officiant Ralph Griggs, Dulce Desserts, A Frosted Affair, the Davenport Band and Dream Events for their individual contributions to a wonderful weekend of celebration.
We hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Natu and Philip’s cinematic wedding film!
The 2016 wedding season is upon us! Our first destination wedding of the year swept us away to the popular locale of Charlottesville, Virginia where we spent the day with Areizo and Tom at picturesque Keswick Vineyards. We can’t say enough kind words about these two and thank them for inviting us to be a part of their big day.
A very special thanks to logistics by Becca Bee Events, photography by Jillian Michelle Photography, and ambience by Lotus Productions and Harvest Moon.
Here’s a sneak peek of Areizo and Tom’s cinematic wedding film. Hope you enjoy!
An epic two-day Indian wedding in The Big Easy? We couldn’t have asked for anything more from our last big destination wedding of the year!
We first spoke with Serena and Ajay by Skype back in August and the more they described their upcoming wedding in New Orleans, the more we knew we just had to be a part of it. They celebrated with family and friends during their sangeet Friday evening at The Board of Trade, and danced into the night on Saturday after a day packed with a traditional baraat procession, wedding ceremony, photo shoot around the city and an exquisitely decorated reception at the JW Marriott New Orleans Hotel.
So many talented vendors came together to make this amazing weekend possible, including Reema and Kurien of RB Event Design, Robby and Jess of Followell Fotography, and Vikas and crew of Opening Minds Entertainment.
We hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Serena and Ajay’s New Orleans cinematic wedding film!
Our final shoot of the year brought us full circle and back home to Nashville to spend the day with Soraya and David as we captured their awesome New Year’s Eve wedding! We had a lot of fun with these two and their guests as they rang in 2016 at the lovely Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
A special thanks to Ashley and crew from Southern Social Events, Nashville Audio Visual and Event Draping, Whole Foods, Petal & Pine, Jerry Jacobs Band, and Cassidy Carson Photography.
