One of the questions we’re asked frequently during consultations at our studio is “can we choose the music for our wedding film?” Well, of course you can silly!
Choosing music is one of the ways that our clients can directly influence the pacing and overall feel of their wedding film. Something fast or something slow? Something fun or something sentimental? It’s up to you.
Wedding videographers have a choice between taking the steps to license music legally and simply using music at their discretion. We choose to do the right thing, and services like The Music Bed make it possible! The Music Bed houses a diverse library of music that can be searched by genre, mood, or instruments…and they even have a “perfect for wedding highlights” category. Simply choose the song(s) for your wedding film and we’ll do the rest!
Wedding photographers: The Music Bed is also a great resource for photo slideshow music. Check ’em out!
We’ve been incredibly lucky to have many, many great clients over the years. We’re especially appreciative of those that take the time to write a review of their experience of with us to share with other brides and grooms searching for the right videographer.
Ben and Holly left a review on our Google Places page recently that I thought would be fun to share. Their Owensboro, KY wedding was a homecoming of sorts and we’re so glad that they invited us to be a part of it.
You can find tons more reviews of With This Ring Wedding Films on Google, as well as leading wedding-planning site Wedding Wire. We also share the occasional review or thank-you note on our Facebook page, so be sure to “like” us to see the latest!
Our buds over at Lane Photography have an opening for one photographer to share their studio in historic Marathon Village. This gorgeous space includes separate consultation and shooting areas, a 250 sq ft upstairs loft, and a private bathroom and changing area. The opening will go fast, so be sure to contact them today!
If there’s one thing we love more than making wedding films, it’s hearing how much our couples enjoy watching them!
It was an incredible honor to be invited to be a part of Sarah Beth and Tom’s wedding day…and to be so warmly welcomed back by their family. We shot Sarah Beth’s sister’s wedding in 2010 and were excited to hear from mom Carole that there was another wedding in the works!
Following their wedding ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Sarah Beth and Tom danced the night away at the War Memorial Auditorium on the Legislative Plaza in Nashville. Be sure to check out their stunning photos by Justin Wright and crew over on their blog.
Well, that’s enough talkin’. Let’s do some watchin’. 🙂

This is Owen. His first birthday was just BANANAS! Uncle Brian normally shoots weddings, but he wouldn’t have missed this party for the world (and I heard he ate more than his fair share of cupcakes).

UPDATE: Our winner is Ruth + Blake! Congrats you two…and thanks to all that voted!
Wow, what a year…we added thirty-four new couples to the With This Ring family! We had great fun along the way and put together so many unique teaser videos that it’d be hard for us to pick a favorite…but I bet you could, right?
For those that may be new to our blog, teaser videos are brief “sneak peeks” that are released within a week of a couple’s wedding day and posted online for sharing with their family and friends.
Vote for “Favorite Teaser of 2011!” We’ve narrowed down the field to a selection of teasers with the most blog comments, Facebook “likes” and Twitter feedback. Now it’s up to you.
Check out the five finalists below, then head over to our Facebook page and vote for your favorite! The couple featured in the teaser with the greatest number of votes will win a romantic dinner for two at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse (valued at $125). Oh yeah, and bragging rights until next year. 🙂
One lucky voter will win a gift certificate for a one hour massage, courtesy of Elysium Day Spa in Brentwood, TN. The contest will end on January 15, 2012…so get voting!
Lights. Camera. Don’t show mom!
Ashley and Travis threw a movie premiere party to watch their wedding film for the first time with family and friends. What a great idea! As you can see, no detail was overlooked.
Of course, we can’t pass up the opportunity to share more from their wedding film. Check out highlights from their reception, shot at aVenue alongside Scott and Kristin Barker with Lane Photography. Love!

Ashley and Travis invited us to be a part of their super unique wedding day, and for that we are truly thankful. But guess what? So are they!
We’re big fans of handwritten thank you notes and appreciate the time and effort to put pen to paper. A big thanks back to Mr. and Mrs. Hillard for sharing their thoughts and for being so much fun to work with.
We’d love to post some highlights from their wedding day, but as you can see they’re waiting to watch their Blu-rays at a movie premiere party with family and friends. Can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet! 🙂
