Our journey to Elise and Josh’s wedding last weekend saw us traveling by airplane, car, and ferry boat – but what an amazing destination awaited us!  Ocracoke Island is of the most remote of the Outer Banks of North Carolina and has quite a colorful history (including being a haven for pirates, Blackbeard himself among them).  But that’s a story for another time…
