Svetlana + Melvin’s Virginia wedding film sneak peek

As our regular followers know, we’ve traveled far and wide shooting destination weddings this season, but it all goes back to Svetlana and Melvin.  They invited us to film their two-day wedding weekend in Richmond, Virginia and, after a year of planning, the weekend finally arrived!

Friday kicked off the celebration with a sangeet at The Manor House at Kings Charter, and Saturday morning featured a baraat, anand karaj, and langar (that’s a groom’s parade, wedding ceremony and lunch to the uninitiated).  Saturday evening saw the newlyweds tie the knot again in a Christian ceremony at Castle Hill Cider with a reception to follow surrounded by all their family and friends.
