What started with a message from a stranger on the internet turned into a wedding adventure: a four-hour drive through rain and fog, an aggressive welcome from the local insect population, and a chicken joke that completely bombed.
But somewhere in the middle of all that chaos was a beautiful wedding in the Alaskan wilderness. One of those experiences I knew I would never forget.
This is exactly why I started Mug Stories. The wedding film tells the couple's story. These are the stories that happened just outside the frame.

11:30 p.m. in Alaska looks a lot like 4 in the afternoon.
We had planned to wrap around 9. Instead, the night kept getting stranger: a bonfire in broad daylight, Nicolas Cage pajama pants, and an impromptu portrait session with a bride, a groom and a couple of chickens.
Some wedding days reward you for sticking around a little longer. This was definitely one of them.
