Brian was so accommodating of my ever changing needs (added on time to my original contract TWICE!) to make sure that our video captured all the footage that we wanted. Our daughter was married in August, 2023. As with any wedding, there are sure to be one or two things that don't go exactly as planned. And that was the case with ours. What we didn't expect is how wonderful the photographers would be to step in quickly and save the day while they were also making gorgeous photos and videos. During the rehearsal dinner, they strategically repositioned the guests who were making toasts so that the waiters could serve and not be distracting. At the wedding ceremony, the officiant's microphone had a short in it and kept cutting on and off. We heard about every fourth word. It was so bad that at some point, I heard her tell my daughter that "it will be ok, we will get through this". Much to our surprise and delight, Brian and Micah had used their own microphones for the video and the sound is perfect-as if nothing ever happened. Just as my daughter was saying her wedding vows, one of our guests, recovering from an illness, fainted and literally fell out into the aisle! Once again, the quick reaction of Brian and Micah saved the day. They stepped in front of the guest, taking photos and blocking the view so that the ceremony could continue without the bride and groom's awareness that anything was amiss. The grand finale to the event was supposed to be them leaving in a white horse and carriage...that never arrived. While I was trying to tell my daughter in my best "mother voice" that life is what you make of your second choices, my son was getting our car so that they could, somehow, make their departure. Brian and Micah jumped into the car with them, carrying all of their equipment, and took them to Broadway and got some amazing, fun, memorable photos of them in their wedding attire surrounded by the energy and lights of lower Broad. The video and photos are spectacular and they made it all look flawless (well, there are a few classic photos of the bridesmaid's faces when they first saw the guest in the aisle!). With This Ring did an amazing job filming our wedding!! Brian and his team are extremely professional, talented, easy to work with, and super nice! Every part of the process went smoothly, from booking, all the way to delivery. They even travelled all the way to Boston from Nashville to film it (and still came out cheaper than the Boston videographers we considered)! I sent him a very detailed schedule for the day, a schedule that was daunting to some of the other vendors, but Brian and his team handled the job with ease, and captured everything I asked for and then some. No amount of light, or rather lack of, kept him from capturing the moment in beautiful clarity! Our reception and ceremony were both pretty dark, but the footage he was able to capture was awesome!! The edited films were so beautifully crafted. Brian's talent and eye for cinematography, story-telling, and design is unmatched! We received a 2 min sneak peek (which was completed within a week after the wedding!!), 5 min short film, and 10 min feature film and we loved all of it! I cannot say enough good things about With This Ring Wedding Videography and Brian! Brian is a true professional in every sense of the word. Initially we did not think about hiring a videographer for the wedding, but as the date got closer I felt that I wanted someone to capture the ceremony on video, and decided to go with a professional, and I am so glad we decided to hire Brian. As I'm sure many people will tell you, the day of your wedding is a blur, and after the wedding everyone kept telling us how wonderful the ceremony was, and to be perfectly honest I couldn’t remember much about the ceremony because I was so nervous. When we got the final wedding DVD I was blown away by how wonderful it turned out, and how high quality the video was. The video exceeded my expectations, capturing all the special moments of the day and more. Brian and team did an excellent job shooting our wedding. We did a good amount of research when looking for cinematographers and got in touch with Brian & team after watching a number of their films- the style of which we really liked. At first we were mixed on the fact that Brian and team had never shot an Indian wedding; excited by the fact that he would bring a fresh perspective, but worried given the unique challenges (traditions, events, etc.) and extra days. But Brian was totally willing to spend time talking through everything, doing additional walk throughs, and generally being accommodating which put us both at ease. The final product speaks for itself. We really loved the videos that Brian meticulously crafted together for us, and heard from tons of people that they loved the SDE that was shown at the reception. We recently received our wedding video from Brian and loved it for the quality of cinematography, the layout of the DVD play menu, the DVD case cover which is a piece of artwork itself, and the fun process of working with Brian through the wedding planning and the big day. I am extremely pleased with the video of my daughter's wedding and I highly recommend With This Ring Films. I am one of those people with high expectations of videographers and photographers and will admit that I have more of a critical eye than most. I also think it is important to listen to clients and make note of what is wanted and Brian certainly did that every step of the way and it is evident that he puts a priority on communication. I am happy to say that I admire and appreciate his expertise. He certainly pays attention to details and captures all the special moments beautifully but has a way of barely being noticed. Brian used multiple cameras at the wedding including the aerial camera during the photo session, and with his editing skills, I can say it was well worth the additional costs to have every angle covered. When Trevor and I first got engaged we sat down and talked about budget and what was important to us. We were paying for part of the wedding ourselves and we wanted to make sure we were going to have everything we had hoped for that was within our budget. We both agreed that videography took the top of the list, so I set out to look for the best. While I sat down and ran through the numerous lists of videographers near the Kentucky area, I stumbled upon a beautiful business website called With This Ring. I watched the feature video and immediately fell in love. From the moment we had our first Skype conversation I knew Brian was an unbelievable videographer. He very obviously had a lot of training and experience in the area and it really shows. The narration, the editing, the music, it is all put together so perfectly and beautifully. I could not imagine anyone else doing a better job. Every time I watch these videos I get so emotional, which doesn't say a whole lot since I am a woman, but these videos gather such an overwhelming amount of emotions. My husband even managed to shed a few tears as we watched them for the first time. The importance of these videos is indescribable. That day went by so incredibly fast it was hard to take everything in. The videography captured things that we were not able to see and expressions and emotions from our guests that we may have not felt. Ten years down the road when we may have had loved ones that have passed or when we want to recall the memories of our wedding day we can look back on these amazing videos and remember those people and those emotions. Wedding videography cannot be given a value. It is something that will last a lifetime. If choosing a photographer and videographer are an important part of your wedding planning, I can confidently say With This Ring Wedding Films and Photo is an easy decision to make since my family has used Brian Johnson twice. Brian was booked as the videographer for sister’s wedding in 2013 and the beautifully edited videos surpassed everyone’s high expectations. With that outside wedding, it got darker earlier than expected, but Brian zoomed in closer, and using the decorative lighting available, provided lovely intimate shots that were enchanting. As a result, as soon as my wedding date was determined, Brian was the first person I contacted, and we were thrilled he was available, book early! This time, he offered a videography and photography package which I was excited about since I knew I could trust him. I explained what I was looking for in a photographer along with the style we preferred, and was matched with Stephanie Reeder and Luis Quintana for my wedding. Stephanie also shot my bridal portraits which were stunning and we had a great time that day. Brian, Stephanie, and Luis were very professional and made a point of getting every picture on our requirement list along with all the shots to fully document the wedding day. They worked well as a team and everyone couldn’t help but love their confident and joyful personalities. With my outside wedding, it rained which can be challenging. However, Brian, Stephanie, and Luis jumped into action throughout the day to work to capture all of those special moments during any break in the rain or with clever usage of umbrellas. This often meant they were in the drizzle while trying to get the moments they knew I had dreamed about. The ceremony had to be in a smaller covered area, but the team knew where to be for the best shots. So regardless of the obstacles, you can be assured they will be as accommodating as possible and handled with experience and positive attitudes. Communication is also excellent from booking to delivery. I recommend the most upgraded package that can be afforded, along with the aerial option, because at the end of the day, you are going to want to look forward to receiving the best pictures and videos that beautifully captures one of the most important days of your life.

I knew from the first day I spoke with Brian that I had chosen the best. ❤️All the way from Chicago! Nashville was a destination wedding for us- closer to our families :) The call lasted for an hour and he gave me a detailed explanation of their services. I felt like I’d known him for years. He was so informative and patient. He didn’t leave anything out which is what I needed considering that we weren’t from the local area. His tone over the phone let me know he was kind and genuine. It was overwhelming at times looking for vendors. It was May and With This Ring had just came up in my search. (Wedding-September 7th) I looked at several websites for months but wanted to make sure I made the right choice. I was not fond of the trend of prices not being listed and having to wait on an email or call. WTR had the prices listed and to me that showed transparency. I was impressed by that before even speaking to Brian. He met with us at the venue when we went to Nashville a couple of months before the wedding and asked for any specific things we wanted to capture in the video. I gave him one. When we received the final product, my husband and I were both in awe. We love it! He didn’t forget my one request in the final feature film 😊The quality, music and scenes were like watching a movie. Jonathan and Justin spent 5 hours filming and the production was beautiful. They are great cinematographers. I’m extremely satisfied and so happy. I have watched our films everyday since receiving it. I’m so thankful for With This Ring capturing one of the greatest moments of my life. Brian and his team were amazing to work with!! I am beyond impressed with his work and haven't stopped watching my video since it was delivered last week :) He was quick to respond to my emails and made sure I was satisfied with the final product. Brian was great. He was available whenever our schedule would allow us to meet (which was amazing since I lived out of state and only came to Nashville on some weekends) and was able to help us through the whole process, from choosing packages to picking the perfect songs. We just received the final DVDs and couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out!

When we first started looking for a wedding videographer, I was nervous because my husband HATES cameras. Brian did SUCH a good job though and my husband felt so comfortable. Our wedding video is beautiful and something we will cherish for forever!

The one thing I knew I wanted on my wedding day was a videographer. You spend so much time planning every little detail for one of the most important days of your life, and then the day just goes by in a flash! Personally, I was so busy focusing on not tripping while walking down the aisle, not screwing up my vows, and chatting and dancing with our guests at the reception, that I didn't have time to take notice of much else! I am so grateful we had a video to capture and preserve all the details and memories and things I missed so I can go back and see things like my dad's face as he walked me down the aisle.. or all our beautiful centerpieces.. or mine and my husbands first dance! I cried when I saw our video for the first time and I've since watched it more times than I can count! Such an amazing company!! I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for a videographer! They traveled all the way to Forks,Washington in the cold of winter to document my day! And they were troopers through it all! Always so sweet, quick to respond to emails/phone calls and just an all around amazing experience!
