How we work with planners
No surprises. No blocking the aisle.

Communication
You'll deal with Brian directly. Every message gets a personal reply within 24 hours, usually sooner. The week of the wedding, we'll confirm arrival, crew and a day-of contact with you.

Timelines
In the month before the wedding, Brian sets up a call with your couple to walk through their day. We'll loop you in on that call or send you a recap. A timeline makes it even more useful, and a rough draft is perfectly fine. Never a requirement, always appreciated.

Arrival + setup
Our team arrives early and is ready to roll by the contracted start time. We load in quietly, follow every venue rule and guideline, and we're happy to coordinate the details with you ahead of time so the day runs smoothly. Booked The Confessional? It's compact: a camera on a tripod, a soft light and a handheld mic your guests pass to each other. Our host runs it and watches over it all night, so there's never unattended gear in the room. We usually set up somewhere a little quieter so every word records clearly, but if the vibe calls for it, we'll set up right by the dance floor.

Crew + coverage
Crew size depends on what each couple books. You can see every collection on our Wedding Video, Photography and Photo + Video pages, and Brian is always happy to walk you through exactly what your couple booked.

Staying out of the way
We mic the people whose words matter, so we never need to crowd the altar or the toasts.

Insured + certified
We're fully insured, and a certificate of insurance is yours for any venue that asks. Every drone pilot on our team is FAA Part 107 certified.

Featured on a wedding we filmed?
Once the couple has their photos and film, we'll share a curated set of images and the highlight film with you. Use them on your website, social and portfolio with credit and a tag to @wtrfilms. For ads, print or publication submissions, just ask first. Every Real Wedding page also credits the vendors who made the day happen, with a link back to you.
