With this Ring is spectacular! I absolutely loved working with Brian. The planning process was so seamless leading up to wedding day. Brian was so accommodating of my ever changing needs (added on time to my original contract TWICE!) to make sure that our video captured all the footage that we wanted. Day of, Brian knew exactly where he needed to be and was ready with the special mics to capture vows/first looks, speeches, etc. He was so on top of it, while also being a funny and calming presence during the chaos of wedding day! Our daughter was married in August, 2023. As with any wedding, there are sure to be one or two things that don't go exactly as planned. And that was the case with ours. What we didn't expect is how wonderful the photographers would be to step in quickly and save the day while they were also making gorgeous photos and videos. During the rehearsal dinner, they strategically repositioned the guests who were making toasts so that the waiters could serve and not be distracting. At the wedding ceremony, the officiant's microphone had a short in it and kept cutting on and off. We heard about every fourth word. It was so bad that at some point, I heard her tell my daughter that "it will be ok, we will get through this". Much to our surprise and delight, Brian and Micah had used their own microphones for the video and the sound is perfect-as if nothing ever happened. Just as my daughter was saying her wedding vows, one of our guests, recovering from an illness, fainted and literally fell out into the aisle! Once again, the quick reaction of Brian and Micah saved the day. They stepped in front of the guest, taking photos and blocking the view so that the ceremony could continue without the bride and groom's awareness that anything was amiss. The grand finale to the event was supposed to be them leaving in a white horse and carriage...that never arrived. While I was trying to tell my daughter in my best "mother voice" that life is what you make of your second choices, my son was getting our car so that they could, somehow, make their departure. Brian and Micah jumped into the car with them, carrying all of their equipment, and took them to Broadway and got some amazing, fun, memorable photos of them in their wedding attire surrounded by the energy and lights of lower Broad. The video and photos are spectacular and they made it all look flawless (well, there are a few classic photos of the bridesmaid's faces when they first saw the guest in the aisle!). If choosing a photographer and videographer are an important part of your wedding planning, I can confidently say With This Ring Wedding Films and Photo is an easy decision to make since my family has used Brian Johnson twice. Brian was booked as the videographer for sister’s wedding in 2013 and the beautifully edited videos surpassed everyone’s high expectations. With that outside wedding, it got darker earlier than expected, but Brian zoomed in closer, and using the decorative lighting available, provided lovely intimate shots that were enchanting. As a result, as soon as my wedding date was determined, Brian was the first person I contacted, and we were thrilled he was available, book early! This time, he offered a videography and photography package which I was excited about since I knew I could trust him. I explained what I was looking for in a photographer along with the style we preferred, and was matched with Stephanie Reeder and Luis Quintana for my wedding. Stephanie also shot my bridal portraits which were stunning and we had a great time that day. Brian, Stephanie, and Luis were very professional and made a point of getting every picture on our requirement list along with all the shots to fully document the wedding day. They worked well as a team and everyone couldn’t help but love their confident and joyful personalities. With my outside wedding, it rained which can be challenging. However, Brian, Stephanie, and Luis jumped into action throughout the day to work to capture all of those special moments during any break in the rain or with clever usage of umbrellas. This often meant they were in the drizzle while trying to get the moments they knew I had dreamed about. The ceremony had to be in a smaller covered area, but the team knew where to be for the best shots. So regardless of the obstacles, you can be assured they will be as accommodating as possible and handled with experience and positive attitudes. Communication is also excellent from booking to delivery. I recommend the most upgraded package that can be afforded, along with the aerial option, because at the end of the day, you are going to want to look forward to receiving the best pictures and videos that beautifully captures one of the most important days of your life.

My husband and I planned our destination wedding in less than a year. We got engaged in September and started planning for a June ceremony in a small city in Sicily. I knew from the first day I spoke with Brian that I had chosen the best. ❤️All the way from Chicago! Nashville was a destination wedding for us- closer to our families :) The call lasted for an hour and he gave me a detailed explanation of their services. I felt like I’d known him for years. He was so informative and patient. He didn’t leave anything out which is what I needed considering that we weren’t from the local area. His tone over the phone let me know he was kind and genuine. (Wedding-September 7th) I looked at several websites for months but wanted to make sure I made the right choice. I was not fond of the trend of prices not being listed and having to wait on an email or call. WTR had the prices listed and to me that showed transparency. With This Ring did an amazing job filming our wedding!! Brian and his team are extremely professional, talented, easy to work with, and super nice! Every part of the process went smoothly, from booking, all the way to delivery. They even travelled all the way to Boston from Nashville to film it (and still came out cheaper than the Boston videographers we considered)! I sent him a very detailed schedule for the day, a schedule that was daunting to some of the other vendors, but Brian and his team handled the job with ease, and captured everything I asked for and then some. No amount of light, or rather lack of, kept him from capturing the moment in beautiful clarity! Our reception and ceremony were both pretty dark, but the footage he was able to capture was awesome!! The edited films were so beautifully crafted. Brian's talent and eye for cinematography, story-telling, and design is unmatched! We received a 2 min sneak peek (which was completed within a week after the wedding!!), 5 min short film, and 10 min feature film and we loved all of it! I've probably watched the sneak peek 100 times by now. With This Ring is truly a gem in this cut-throat industry. And hiring them was one of the best decisions we made with regards to our wedding! Brian and team did an excellent job shooting our wedding. We did a good amount of research when looking for cinematographers and got in touch with Brian & team after watching a number of their films- the style of which we really liked. At first we were mixed on the fact that Brian and team had never shot an Indian wedding; excited by the fact that he would bring a fresh perspective, but worried given the unique challenges (traditions, events, etc.) and extra days. But Brian was totally willing to spend time talking through everything, doing additional walk throughs, and generally being accommodating which put us both at ease. The final product speaks for itself. We really loved the videos that Brian meticulously crafted together for us, and heard from tons of people that they loved the SDE that was shown at the reception. We recently received our wedding video from Brian and loved it for the quality of cinematography, the layout of the DVD play menu, the DVD case cover which is a piece of artwork itself, and the fun process of working with Brian through the wedding planning and the big day. Planning this was easy, we had a couple of conference calls with Brian and told him about our style and gave him logistics of the wedding day through email. He was always prompt and courteous with responses and he essentially worked out all the other details with wedding vendors and the wedding venue. If there were 10 stars..I would have rated Brian and his work a 10! He shot our wedding video back in September..and I'll admit I've watched it 20 times or more since the first time I pushed play. When Trevor and I first got engaged we sat down and talked about budget and what was important to us. We were paying for part of the wedding ourselves and we wanted to make sure we were going to have everything we had hoped for that was within our budget. While I sat down and ran through the numerous lists of videographers near the Kentucky area, I stumbled upon a beautiful business website called With This Ring. Brian was great. He was available whenever our schedule would allow us to meet (which was amazing since I lived out of state and only came to Nashville on some weekends) and was able to help us through the whole process, from choosing packages to picking the perfect songs. We just received the final DVDs and couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out!

The one thing I knew I wanted on my wedding day was a videographer. Initially we did not think about hiring a videographer for the wedding, but as the date got closer I felt that I wanted someone to capture the ceremony on video, and decided to go with a professional, and I am so glad we decided to hire Brian. I am extremely pleased with the video of my daughter's wedding and I highly recommend With This Ring Films. I am one of those people with high expectations of videographers and photographers and will admit that I have more of a critical eye than most. I also think it is important to listen to clients and make note of what is wanted and Brian certainly did that every step of the way and it is evident that he puts a priority on communication. I am happy to say that I admire and appreciate his expertise. He certainly pays attention to details and captures all the special moments beautifully but has a way of barely being noticed. Brian used multiple cameras at the wedding including the aerial camera during the photo session, and with his editing skills, I can say it was well worth the additional costs to have every angle covered. After reviewing his work on his website and blog, I knew I had found the right videographer for our wedding. His videos are so well done! He does an excellent job personalizing each video to best display the couple's personalities and love for one another…Planning a wedding from Washington DC didn't allow me the opportunity to meet Brian before the big day, but from the moment I met him I felt comfortable around him. He is so upbeat and funny! My fiance and I absolutely loved him! Side note: I was terribly sick the day of my wedding with the flu and I will never forget how Brian was fetching me water and cold medicine from inside the reception (we were still shooting outside the venue and couldn't go in without being bombarded by guests so he went inside, without us even asking him to, and got that stuff for me!). He is not only talented, but a good and kind person! Another great thing about With This Ring is how quickly your receive your video! By the time we were back from our honeymoon, Brian had already put together and posted a sneek peak video for us to enjoy! And within a month and half we had our full wedding video (which is absolutely AMAZING)! My fiance and I still say that Brian was one of the best vendors we chose for our wedding. I met Brian and Paris at the salon I got ready at just a few minutes before filming started (we had a destination wedding and I did almost everything through email). Brian responded to all my many emails VERY quick. As several other reviews have stated, he is an awesomely nice guy to work with. Our wedding was very small (50 people) and our reception was about an hour and 45 mins behind schedule due to late and lost guests throughout the day and we rushed to do all of the events like the cake cutting, bouquet toss and sparkler getaway before our time ended with Brian and our photographer but you can't tell it from the amazing video editing! (*he does stay later if you need more time, for an extra charge, but per Brian we felt everything was covered nicely for the film). I really appreciated him being honest with us that we didn't need more time. Hey, he knows his profession: he majored in TV and Film! The sneak peek is ready in about a week and we watched it so many times when we got back from our honeymoon. We got our completed film a few days before Christmas and held two big premiere nights with family at our Christmas get togethers and it was so special because most of them were at the wedding and are in the film and the ones who weren't there got to see EVERYTHING: Brian didn't miss anything. In all honesty, a wedding video was not something my husband thought we needed because 'we'll have pictures.' I had watched the films on the With This Ring site and knew I had to have one so I talked him into it and it was the last thing we purchased for the wedding. Now when he watches it, he knows it was worth every penny. No matter how many pictures I look at, nothing can compare to watching my husband wipe tears from his eyes as I walked towards him at the altar. You just can't relive some moments with photos. I can't speak more highly of Brian and With This Ring Wedding Films. We knew we wanted a videographer to film our day, but had no idea it could turn out to be so creative and amazing. They really know how to capture every emotion and every moment perfectly without you even knowing they were there. My husband and I would highly recommend Brian and his staff at With This Ring Films. Brian was so easy to work with and always returned emails/phone calls right away. We love the video! It came in the mail only a few weeks after the wedding in a cute DVD package. He included all the moments we wanted with the full ceremony, highlights of getting ready, the reception and even some extras. The quality of the videos are also great…We would recommend him to everyone! You won't be disappointed!

Brian did such an AMAZING job filming my October 2010 wedding. We were still debating on whether or not to film the wedding when my mother met Brian. I am SO glad that we chose to. Brian did a wonderful job filming my daughter's wedding in Oct. 2010. He is punctual, and very professional at his job. He is a very nice and polite person, who is easy to talk with and makes everyone feel at ease. He was especially nice to my daughters grandmother. I really felt like he was a blessing to have as the videographer for such a special event. I would tell anyone looking for someone to video any event that is important to them, that Brian is your guy! He not only did the wedding, but he also filmed the rehearsal dinner and rehearsal, and the reception! Brian spent a lot of time with my family and friends.

…As a bride, I never expected that the most important day of my life would flash by so quickly and I wouldn't remember the details. If it weren't for the amazing video I got, those memories would have been lost forever. Brian filmed our wedding in 2007. He did a fabulous job capturing the details of the wedding, friends and family, and the overall "feeling" of the wedding. He was very professional. He listened to what we wanted and expected in the video. I was able to choose the music that I wished to have incorporated. He also put together a slideshow for the rehearsal dinner and recorded the speeches and toasts of that event as well. We were so glad we chose to have this event videoed as well. It is an investment to have your wedding videoed but it is priceless to be able to go back and watch the most special day in your life over and over again. My husband and I were very pleased to have chosen Brian as our videographer. He was incredibly easy to work with, was very responsive to my questions and the quality of his work surpassed my expectations. The high-definition quality of the final video was amazing and has made the video enjoyable to watch over and over again. I contemplated not hiring a videographer when I was planning my wedding, and I cannot express how happy I am now to have selected Brian…It was unbelievably special to get to relive our wedding day through the shots on the video and to get to hear our entire ceremony again. Since my husband and I didn't see each other before the ceremony, we loved getting to see the montage of pre-ceremony highlights with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. The sound was great during the ceremony and I really like being able to see both views, one from the loft that captured the whole sancuary and another from the alter that captured our faces and excitement. Then, of course, the reception montage was so fun with all of our family and friends dancing and having a great time. We very much appreciate the time and hard work Brian put into making our video perfect. We love it and will cherish it forever! I would, and plan to, recommend Brian…to any of my friends.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our interaction with Brian Johnson and his videography services for our Wedding and Reception! Brian was quick to respond to any questions we ever had and was always helpful! My wedding had some interesting circumstances (I got married on the day of the Nashville flood), but despite the delay of the wedding, Brian was there the whole time with a positive attitude! When we got our video back we loved watching it and were very pleased with the quality. We would recommend him to anyone!
