A single message from Veronica and Massimo in February began a conversation that swept our team away to Taormina, a charming town on the east coast of Sicily spectacularly perched on the side of a mountain overlooking the Ionian Sea.
Celebrating the coming together of their two families was at the core of the weekend, beginning with a welcome party at Il Piccolo Giardino and flowing into their wedding day preparations at the Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo, their ceremony at the historic Chiesa di Varo, a procession of wedding guests down Corso Umberto led by the newlyweds and a band of folkloric musicians, a reception dinner at Belmond Villa Sant'Andrea, and a dance party into the evening on the beach!
